For any of our English examination or specialist language classes, we promise there will never be more than 6 people. We want to make sure that:
- You have time to ask the questions that matter to you.
- Your teacher always has time to give you thorough feedback for the work you have done, and the right advice and practice for those questions and problems which may arise.
- You can develop good study relationships with the other students, which continue outside the classroom. To encourage this, the teacher will also provide additional practice material at your request.
- The teacher understands your strengths and weakness which are used to make the class more effective for you.
Class styles
1 to 1
…focused and intensive practice on specific areas that you need for your language goals, such as:
- Writing Task 1 and 2 (IELTS).
- Grammar accuracy and vocabulary range, for any specific purpose or exam component.
- Exam sections such as Use of English or writing (FCE, CAE or CPE).
- Pronunciation and accent reduction.
1 to 3
…those who prefer small groups or want to study with friends or work colleagues, and need help with:
- Group speaking tasks for tests such as FCE, CAE and CPE.
- Presentation skills or learning how to use English in a wide range of business environments.
- Learning about different types of writing structure, such as formal and semi-formal emails, business letters and reports.
1 to 6

- The core skills needed to pass one of the English language exams.
- How to structure to an academic paper, including the language, grammar and register expected by UK institutions.
- Specialised language skills such as legal or medical English that will help with your continued professional development.

- There is more opportunity for help directly after the class with the tutor if you have any questions that weren’t directly addressed during the session.

Key features:
- Classes include both video and voice - these classes can be recorded for you to review later.
- No specialist software or knowledge needed, and work with all modern Mac OS X and Windows computers.
- Full notes are automatically made of what is written and said by the teacher during the class. These are then sent to the client after each class has completed.
- Your online study space is private and secure, meaning you can access and view it any time (even between classes) to review the lesson.
